We are doing various events this year including Rob Burrows Leeds half Marathon, Rudding park 10k ,Knaresborough Bed Race and Yorkshire Marathon with the Early Bird running Crew. The crew are an amazing group of people who started running together 6 years ago and have become such good friends all from different walks of life and different ages from teenagers to young 60 plus, we all gel and not only socialise as well as running but have been through various marriages , births of children and generally there to support each other. At the heart of our crew from day 1 was Jo- she was always one of the 1st to arrive at 6.30am in the centre of Harrogate with a massive smile on her face whatever the weather ready to run 5k, unfortunately Jo got cancer and having spent the last 3 months of her life in Leeds Cancer centre fought so hard but sadly lost her battle last October. We miss her so much and am sure she would be proud we are helping jacqui raise her millions.
