Story
In just under a week, we’ll be taking on the 46-mile Rotary Walk Across Wales, from Machynlleth to Montgomery.
The goal is to complete the walk in under 16 hours, crossing some of the roughest, most remote, and most beautiful countryside Wales has to offer. It’s a privilege to be taking part in such a challenging and rewarding event.
Along the way, I’d like to raise awareness of—and hopefully some funds for—The Therapy Stars Foundation.
Therapy Stars Foundation offers awards of £500 to families living in Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid or North Wales for them to access therapy for a child with a long-term or life limiting condition. The grants can also be used for siblings of these children.
One very special and determined boy, Ellison, that I have the privilege to know, regularly attends Therapy Stars for physiotherapy. Diagnosed at just seven weeks old with a rare, drug-resistant form of epilepsy, he faces challenges that most of us can scarcely imagine. Yet his smile at every session says it all. The help he received from Therapy Stars Foundation to attend Therapy Stars makes a real difference and his determination is truly inspiring.
If you are able to, please consider making a donation to help me support this amazing foundation. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help Therapy Stars Foundation continue its fantastic work for children like Ellison and their families.
Thank you for your support!
