Story
In memory of Percy Niblock.
13th May 2022
For the third consecutive year, I will be honouring my son Percy and all babies and pregnancies that have been lost, by hosting a Ribbon Display.
The event is free but I am accepting donations via a JustGiving Page (see below).
This year any donations will be split between Sands Charity and Sands United Manchester FC. Both of these charities have supported my husband and I through the most difficult time of our lives, but have also provided us with a safe space to say Percy’s name to remember him.
As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, 9th-15th October, there will be a ribbon display at Vernon Park (Turncroft Lane) in Stockport.
Loss of a baby or pregnancy is heart-breaking, this is happening to families across the UK everyday. During Baby Loss Awareness Week, we want to create a special display to remember all of our babies’.
I invite you to join me in remembering yours.
Ribbons displaying names of babies being remembered will be added to the display on the 11th October.
You are invited to attend, to write on your own piece of ribbon, and add it to the display.
Or I can add your baby’s name to the display on your behalf. Please message me publicly or privately with your baby’s name, and if you’d like pink or blue ribbon, or a mix if you have no preference.
The display will be added to all day and at the end, I will remove and keep all the ribbons together in a special place.
If you placed a ribbon on previous years’ displays then you will be able to take this away with you.
Thank you,
Alice Niblock - Percy’s mummy
