I have the honour to spend the majority of my time coaching talented young skaters most of my days on the ice. But, outside of the ice rink is a world full of children that don’t have these kind of day to day or weekend luxuries. The Childrens society are a national charity, working with young people to counsel and support them through their most serious life challenges. They campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most. They’ve been doing this for 140 years and won't stop until they’ve built a society where hope is alive in every child. For this reason, I have chosen to run the London Marathon to hope I can raise as much money as possible, because I believe every child deserves to have a happy childhood.
