Story

I’m running the 2025 London Marathon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support!

Macmillan provides specialist care, information and financial support to people living in the UK affected by cancer, is a vital service for many people & a charity close to my heart as some of my closest friends have unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer at a very young age.

In November 2023 my amazing friend Jonny King was diagnosed with testicular cancer and went through chemotherapy and surgery last year. I am so proud of my brave, courageous and gorgeous friend who handled his treatment like an absolute hero and is now not only thriving but advocating for those living with cancer, raising awareness about testicular cancer and working with Macmillan to help LGBTQIA+ people living with cancer. Jonny has inspired me hugely and I feel honoured to run for Macmillan.

I’m hoping to raise £2,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support by running the London Marathon in just 16 weeks time (eeeek) - any support you could offer would be hugely appreciated. Please donate if you can spare a few quid to watch me squirm for 26.2 miles! Thank you for any support you can offer. #TeamMacmillan
