Essex Big Bash is an annual charity cricket event, proudly organised by AJ Chambers. From the first ball to the final whistle, the day combines competitive cricket with community spirit- creating a space for local teams, colleagues, friends and supporters to connect, have fun and support an important cause.

For the second-year running, we are raising funds for Samaritans Southend. Samaritans is a free, accessible, 24-hour service, 365 days a year, offering a safe space for anyone experiencing mental distress, loneliness, thoughts of self-harm and suicide. Their trained volunteers listen without judgement, day or night, providing unwavering support.
