Story
In January 2026, I’ll be heading to Kiruna, Sweden, where temperatures can drop as low as -35°C, to take on the Arctic Challenge – a wilderness endurance adventure that includes dog sledding, ice fishing, and hiking through some seriously cold and remote terrain. I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for the National Literacy Trust – a charity who are doing amazing work to support children who need it most.
The money I raise will go towards helping children in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK. Right now, children from the most disadvantaged backgrounds are starting school up to 19 months behind, which is having a lasting impact on the rest of their lives. Poor literacy is linked to lower chances of employment, poorer mental health, and reduced opportunities later on in life. By supporting my challenge, you’re helping to change those lives, and giving every child a fairer shot at their future.
Thank you so much for your support!
