Shooting Star Children's Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across Surrey and London.

Shooting Star and the wonderful work they do are very close to my heart, having cared for some very special people in my life.

They support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

I am NOT a runner!! But I promise I will do this! When Shooting Star asked me why I thought I could raise £3000, I gave two reasons:

1. I have the most amazing friends and family,

2. Everyone will be so surprised that they'll donate out of shock

I am training SO hard (as those of you who have seen my bright red face around the village can testify to!), and am determined to complete this marathon, and even more determined to raise as much money as I can for this wonderful hospice. I would be so incredibly grateful for anything you can give, no matter how big or small. Every pound raised will help support families during the most difficult times of their lives.
