Our story...

Alexander was born with a complex form of Truncus Arteriosis with a VSD. He has since had 2 open heart surgeries and spent a total of 3 months in Leeds Children’s Hospital.

Between surgery’s, in order to go home since he was a high risk patient, we needed a sats monitor to check him daily. Thankfully CHSF had sponsored these machines for the ward.

CHSF have been vital in his journey from providing accommodation for us whilst he was in the PICU to the vital equipment on the ward and safe spaces to talk in the cardiac cafes.
