I am running the Great North Run 2026 to raise money for the Newcastle Rugby Foundation.

Newcastle Rugby Foundation was established in 2005, and it is the charitable arm of Newcastle Red Bulls and Newcastle Thunder. They are a small and agile team, driven by a clear purpose and an unwavering determination to support those who need them most in our community.

Working with schools, community groups and forward-thinking businesses across the North East, the Foundation delivers physical and educational programmes that use rugby as a tool to make a positive, lasting difference in people’s lives.

Each year they: Support over 15,000 participants, Partner with 30 organisations and Deliver 25 impactful projects

These programmes are designed to boost wellbeing, grow skills, increase participation and build a strong sense of belonging.
