I am an animal healer and what better way to show my support for 'NoToDogMeat' than by doing a half mile swim in the Serpentine lake, Hyde Park, London.

I hope to raise as much as I can to help rebuild the animal shelter that was so horrifically affected by the recent flooding in China.

We lost some beautiful souls, and yet the staff soldier on, working all hours in awful conditions to save more precious lives.

Their efforts make mine, travelling over from France, especially for this event, pail into insignificance...
