Since I was 16, I’ve dreamed of skydiving, but only now, at 40, am I finally making it happen. This will be my birthday celebration! And I’m actually glad I waited a couple of decades because, in that time, so much has changed—I’ve learned more about life, made many wonderful friends and acquaintances, built a family, and had children. I’ve been working with children for 10 years as a teacher and supporting families as a doula, guiding them on their journey into parenthood.

Now, I want to bring all these experiences together and make this skydive more than just a personal milestone—I want it to be something that helps others. Climate change and environmental issues deeply concern me, and I strongly believe that the seeds of awareness should be planted in childhood. That’s why I’ve chosen to support Eco-Schools, the largest educational programme on the planet. For nearly 25 years, Eco-Schools has been empowering children—focusing on issues from climate change to biodiversity—to drive sustainable change and improve environmental awareness.
