I hope you’re all starting the new year feeling blessed 🤍 As for most of us, Palestine, and especially Gaza, is something very close to our hearts. The reality for Palestinian families and children right now is beyond devastating and should absolutely NOT be ignored.

One of my goals for 2026 is to do more than just share — so I’ve partnered with Human Appeal to raise £5500 for families and children displaced by war. This fund will support Palestinian and Syrian refugees currently living in Lebanon.

My intention, InShaAllah, is to personally deliver this aid by the end of this year or early next year. The costs for my involvement (transport/ accommodation/ food) will be covered by the charity, with any additional expenses personally covered by my own donations, meaning that every penny donated by yourselves will go towards aid. This will be in the form of food packs, dignity kits (feminine hygiene), hot meals, orphan "fun days" with games and toys for the children, as well as clothing, blankets and other necessities. The costs for some of these items are broken down below:

£5 - Hot Meal

£30 - Provide a family with 2 bread deliveries per week for two months.

£60 - Help us to support our emergency medical and education work in Lebanon.

£60 - Provide a nutritious food parcel to feed a family for a month.

£70 - Provide a family with 20 litres of fuel, keeping them warm through winter.

Any contribution, no matter how small it may seem, genuinely makes a difference — even the cost of a coffee 🤍 your donations would also be zakaat eligible - something to think about as we approach the holy month of Ramadan, especially if you still have some left to pay from last year.
