Story
In 2023, my mum received palliative care from St Lukes hospice, and I will never forget the kindness, compassion and dignity they showed her during such a difficult time.
The care they gave Mum was incredible, but what also meant so much to us was the support they provided to our whole family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt that we were being cared for too. Their support really was second to none.
I’m fundraising because I want to give something back and help this wonderful hospice continue to be there for other families when they need them most.
Every donation, no matter how small, will mean so much to me and will help the hospice continue the amazing work they do.
This is for Mum, and for the incredible people who cared for her. ❤️
As Mum’s birthday was in September, it feels especially meaningful to take on St Luke’s Walkies Challenge in her memory. Throughout September, we’ll be walking 100km with our little sausage dog Freddie, to raise money for the hospice that cared for Mum so wonderfully in 2023.
