Story
This year I will be stepping out of my comfort zone by jumping out of a plane tonraise money for LOROS Hospice!
I will be getting on a plane at Sibson Aerodrome, which will then take me to an incredible 13,000ft high.
I’m taking on this skydive in memory of my mum, who sadly passed away in 2007 from ovarian cancer. During her illness, she spent time at LOROS, where she was given incredible care, dignity, and compassion during what was the most difficult period of both her life and ours.
LOROS didn’t just support my mum — they supported me, my sister and my dad. Unfortunately my dad has now passed away but i will always be so grateful for the love and kindness Loros gave us when we needed it most.
By doing this skydive, I hope to honour my mum’s memory and raise funds so LOROS can continue providing the same comfort and care to other families facing heartbreak.
Thank you so much for any help and support that you’re able to give.
Every single £1 that you donate will help motivate me to take that leap and fund vital compassionate care for terminally ill patients and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
