Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'll be taking a cold water dip every day in October to raise funds for the Surfers Against Sewage excellent campaign for clean rivers and seas all across our beautiful UK mainland, coast and islands. Privatised water companies have got away with polluting our waterways for too long, whilst their executives take home massive unearnt bonuses. It's time for this to stop - we need robust action to force these companies to clean up their act and do their job: provide fresh drinking water, safe wastewater and sewage treatment and clean bathing spots accessible to all. Surfers Against Sewage is a great participatory charity that campaigns hard with integrity and determination. They have already started to see results by revealing the level of under-reporting of leaks and sewage discharge events. Now they need our support to take it to the next level by forcing water companies to update our Victorian waste water and sewage system without lining their own pockets, and end the shocking pollution of our rivers and seas.
