Alison's fundraiser for Doing it for Daniel Foundation

Alison Caplan is raising money for Doing it for Daniel Foundation
In memory of Daniel Caplan
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
The charity was founded in 2021 in memory of Daniel Caplan. Daniel died from an aggressive DMG brain tumour. There is currently no treatment for this type of tumour. The charity campaigns for greater awareness and funding. We also provide gifts and holidays for children with any cancer diagnosis.

Story

Daniel’s 21st brain tumour research fundraiser.

By the end of this year, we hope to raise £21,000 to mark Daniel’s 21st birthday this May. The money will be donated to the high grade glioma laboratory at the Institute for Cancer Research in London who carry out groundbreaking research into the cancer that took our beautiful Daniel. They are trying to translate research into treatment options for children. DMG/DIPG is the biggest cancer killer of children and the biggest killer by disease of children in the West.

Please support us by donating or carrying out your own fundraising event. Nothing is too small and we will be so grateful for any amount you can donate or raise.
