Our local running group, the Bunwell and Carleton Rode Runners are taking part in the Big C Jingle Jangle Christmas 5km. I volunteer at the Big C, at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and have seen first hand the wonderful work this charity does to support people with cancer and their family and friends. It was established in Norfolk in 1980, and through support, research, equipment and education, they make a difference to the lives of local people affected by cancer. Big C currently has four Cancer Support & Information centres across Norfolk. The charity also provides support by telephone and online. The Centres are used by thousands of people affected by cancer with trained staff providing emotional help, support and complementary therapies.
