I have run for Communicare a few times now, why? Because they support so many people across the city of Southampton making a huge difference to their lives.

Communicare in Southampton is a good neighbours charity helping people across the city of Southampton. Last year, the amazing volunteers touched the lives of 946 people, covering over 2,600 tasks including face-to-face befriending, telephone befriending, transport to medical appointments, shopping for those who are housebound, collecting prescriptions and DIY & gardening. Communicare also offers regular lunch clubs and tea parties and a postal project!

The volunteers make a real difference in helping to ease loneliness and isolation in Southampton.
