Story

Wow, I am amazed at the generosity of people. I am eternally grateful to each person that has donated. There are some names that I do not recognise in the donation list so thank you from the bottom of my heart. The original target has been well and truly smashed.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be on my side on 14th February and that I get to do the skydive as planned. I will be getting video evidence for those that want to see it.

I am scared but this will not be half as scared as Ade was 💔 battling the brain cancer. So I will be pulling my big girl pants on and doing it!

I miss Ade so much, but I know he will be with me on the day, giving me a hand getting out of the plane (with his foot)

Thank you for all the generous donations to date. Again I have raised my target as the original amount was almost reached within 24 hours.

I am raising funds for Teesside Hospice who took care of Ade when it really mattered. I will be doing a tandem sky dive on 14th February 2026.

Ade sadly died due to Glioblastoma brain tumour after a brave fight over 21 months. Our lives were turned upside down when the diagnosis was given, which was an incidental finding after he had a collapse. Ade was only 55 and had been fit and active.

Ade remained dignified to the very end, and gave the staff at the hospice something to remember with his cheeky ways.

When I told him that I planned to raise some money for the hospice by doing a sky dive. His response was "you're mad, just volunteer". For some reason it seemed to be the right thing to do, so it is booked.

I will forever be indebted to the wonderful staff and facilities at Teesside Hospice. The care Ade and I received was outstanding, always with dignity and respect.

Every penny is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reading my story.
