In May 2024, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 45. After 7 rounds of chemotherapy and surgery, I have been given the positive news that I am now in remission, and my active cancer treatment will now focus on reducing the risk of recurrence.

While my medical team have been absolutely fantastic, my family and I could not have got through the very gruelling course of treatment without the help of my lovely friends (now known collectively as ‘The Sisterhood’ 😁). I have also received excellent advice and support from cancer charities such as Macmillan over the last year, and been amazed at the range of services they offer - and always with sensitivity and kindness.

So in July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Cotswolds Mighty Hike to celebrate my return to good health and also help raise money for this wonderful charity. And, once again, my sisterhood will be by my side ♥️

We would be so grateful if you could help us reach our £2500 fundraising pledge, which will help Macmillan provide essential medical, practical and emotional support to people living with cancer and their families.
