This August, I’m lacing up my walking shoes and stepping up for a cause that’s close to my heart – Hope Rescue. As part of their 20,000 Steps for 20 Years of Hope challenge, I’ll be walking over 8 miles in one day to raise vital funds and awareness for this incredible charity.

Why Hope Rescue?

For 20 years, Hope Rescue has been a lifeline for stray, abandoned, and unwanted dogs across South Wales. They are often the last hope for dogs that have nowhere else to go, no matter the breed, age, or medical condition.

They work tirelessly, taking in dogs from six local authorities, ensuring that no dog gets left behind. But this amazing work comes at a cost: vet bills, food, shelter, training, it all adds up. That’s where you and I come in.
