We are a mother-daughter duo who have decided to do a 100km Fundraising Walk for the Hillingdon Women's Centre, along the Grand Union Canal.

Our walk will be starting at 6am on Friday 20/10/23 until Sunday 22/10/23 – please do feel free to come by on the day to cheer us on if you fancy! Our route will begin each day in Rickmansworth and end near Heathrow airport.

The charity we are fundraising for is the Hillingdon Women’s Centre and we would be thrilled if you could help us reach our £2,000 goal by donating in support of our walk. No matter how big or small, any donation is a huge help for the centre to continue supporting women in need.

About the charity:

Hillingdon Women’s Centre (HWC) is a local community safe space for vulnerable women. The centre provides information and advice on a range of concerns, primarily for women rebuilding their lives after escaping domestic abuse. They also support women experiencing mental health difficulties, unemployment and isolation, as well as those needing legal and benefits advice.

HWC has been in operation since 1986 and is the only holistic service provider charity of its kind in the Hillingdon area. HWC's services focus on empowering and supporting all women in a time of need.
