Allen’s Cross is a haven in the heart of Northfield and an unsung part of our community.

I discovered AX whilst off work poorly and needing to find something to fill my days, but clear my mind.

AX Community Association has a rich history of supporting the local community since 1931. It runs the oldest community centre in the UK! For me (and many other local people) it has been a place of; healing; safety; connection; laughter; growth (in more ways than one!); and friendship.

I have continued my volunteering here, gardening whenever I can, but am keen to continue giving back to this great service in as many ways as possible. ❤️

Any support you can offer, will help AX continue to provide opportunities for local people to thrive.
