Yes you read it right, October 2026 I will be climbing Africa’s highest peak . . . Mount Kilimanjaro. Located in Tanzania it stands at 19,341 feet high !!

Since 2009 this has been a dream of mine and 17 years later it’s finally becoming a reality !

Somehow I’ve convinced my best buddy Kevin to experience it with me.

Without doubt this challenge will test us mentally, physically and emotionally but I am so excited for it.

I’m using this as a great opportunity to raise some money for a charity local to me who support young adults with learning disabilities, which is something I feel passionate about.

THINK18 champion every young adult’s potential and ensure they feel included, valued and able to say yes to new experiences. They provide exciting activities for 16 - 35 year olds, including sports, residential trips, performing arts, workshops, theatre trips and year round Zoom sessions. This helps reduce isolation and mental health challenges by introducing meaningful friendships, positive routines and opportunities to feel connected and supported.

Their mission is to prevent isolation and exclusion by creating opportunities for young adults to make friends, build confidence and live life to the fullest.

I understand that times are tough for so many but any amount you can donate would be deeply appreciated and know that every contribution will make a difference to this charity.
