Alison's fundraiser for NSPCC

This time I found it difficult to choose a charity. There are thousands of worthy causes and I know so many people affected by cancer that one of those would have been an obvious choice.
However, I have decided to support an age group with whom I have worked for most of my adult life. From 1 to 18, there are sadly many young people who need help in some form or other. Among lots of amazing projects, NSPCC support Childline, and this is a vital service for abused, lonely and suicidal children. It's absolutely heart rending to realise how necessary this is.
The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
I know there are countless demands on your generosity, but please give anything that you can, it all adds up. This challenge is a bit of a scary one for me, (should have done it when I was younger really) so your support will be greatly appreciated. Thank you xx
