So, TeamBirchwood are at it again, this years chosen charity is YoungLives Vs Cancer a cause very close to home and the practice.

We will endeavour to raise as much as we can over the next 18 months for the charity. We will embark on pre-organised events then also run fundraising within the practice through the tuck shop and various challenges through the next months

The first challenge some of us will be embarking on is the ThamesBridgesTrek https://www.ultrachallenge.com/thames-bridges-trek/ if anyone can spare any donation however large or small we will be very grateful.

Here is a little about YoungLives Vs Cancer and the incredible work they do.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
