Story
I received fantastic care and treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH) for lymphoma cancer in the summer and wanted to promote the amazing work done by the fantastic team and raise some much needed funds. The team I met and was cared for at RMH are amazing; incredibly caring, professional and the expertise - phenomenal.
So I have decided to run the Fulham 10km in November. When I signed up for the Fulham 10km I didn’t know whether my treatment would be effective or how I would be in mid November, but as they say everyone needs a goal. So as I said to my family and friends
“I will run, walk or crawl it, but I will finish it”.
Thankfully the CAR-T-cell therapy has been successful and I have no visible cancer. Thanks so much to Dr Francesca Sillito and the amazing haematology and other teams at RMH Sutton and Chelsea.
