Five years ago, when my grandson Aaron was just 13, he jokingly said that by the time I turned 70, I’d be sitting in a rocking chair knitting. I told him, “Not a chance—I’ll be doing a skydive instead!” Without hesitation, I asked if he’d join me, and he said yes. We shook on it. And now, here we are—I'm turning 70, he’s turned 18 and we're making good on our promise with a skydive together on 21st June 2025.

We’ve decided to turn this leap of faith into something even more meaningful by raising money for Home-Start Warrington and Cheshire. Warrington has always been an important place to our family, and we wanted to support a local charity that makes a real difference in our community.

Home-Start offers vital support to families who are facing difficult times—whether it’s due to illness, isolation, mental health challenges, or other struggles. They provide practical help, emotional support, and friendship to parents and children who need it most. We believe that every family deserves the chance to thrive, and with your help, we can make sure more families in Warrington get that chance.
