Story
At the end of July I'll be attempting to mountain bike 100 miles in 24 hours around Aviemore.
Why???
We adopted our fabulous little boy through St Andrew's Children's Society. Throughout the process SACS have provided excellent and timely guidance and support, and the training and individual advice we have received to date from SACS has made a hugely positive difference to our family.
Theres no doubt that the service SACS provide can be genuinely life-changing for families.
Many of the children adopted or fostered through St Andrew’s Children’s Society have faced trauma, abuse, or neglect from a young age. As a result, both the children and their adopters or foster carers often require ongoing, specialist support.
SACS are committed to providing families with lifelong support - whenever they need it and as often as they need it. As a voluntary adoption and fostering agency, they rely on fundraising to cover the cost of this essential support.
Why did I choose to mountain bike 100 miles in 24 hours in July as a challenge? Because mountain biking is one of the activities that we do together as a family, and so G and J will join me for some sections of the challenge!
With your help, SACS can continue to provide the vital support their families depend on.
