Story
It is with deep sadness that we mark the passing of Alistair Crowe, a great friend to so many and a profoundly respected Lifeboat crew member for the last sixty years. He was an incredible man in so many ways, leading the Lifeboat with such strength and bravery, looked up to by all. His knowledge of the sea and conditions around our coastline was profound and will be a huge loss to the marine community. It seems inconceivable that this great man is no longer with us - no longer here to seek advice from, no longer laughing and imparting wisdom in the village cafe, no longer looking out for all those who use our seas.
