My friend, Ritchie and his partner Sophie had a son George. George was born with a number of medical conditions and was cared for at the QMC where staff saved George's life on more than one occasion.

Ritchie says, "The staff were amazing and without their passion, dedication and expertise George would not be here today.

They all do a brilliant job and I cannot thank them enough for what they did and continue to do."

The money will help many other families during their own difficult times. Our Team are fundraising for the Big Appeal, which aims to raise £1.5 million over three years to improve the children's hospital at the QMC.

So hopefully, us paddling about in a Dragon Boat will help raise some money towards this good cause!
