Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
'Hopefully' on the 1st Oct, I will be the first British female to have completed 3 Spartathlons. There is 153miles to complete before I get there, so not an easy task.
I know many of you have all sponsored me in the past for my events and here I am again asking if you could donate. All of my races have been 100% paid for by me and no charity money has ever gone towards an entry etc, I just like to add meaning to my races by raising money for Charities that mean something to me. Hopefully you agree they are all chunky challenges and not easy feats for me so worthy of donation. £5 is gratefully received as yes, every little helps! When the chips are down, I always think of others who haven't got the opportunity to run when they want, so get over yourself Ali, and crack on!!
My pal Frances has inspired me to do this as I see her so determined to not let MS beat her!! Go Frances!!
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
This interruption of communication signals causes unpredictable symptoms such as numbness, tingling, mood changes, memory problems, pain, fatigue, blindness and/or paralysis. Everyone’s experience with MS is different and these losses may be temporary or long lasting.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
