Story
In 2017, I ran the London Marathon. I remember the sweat, the pain… and the moment I was overtaken by a man dressed as a hot dog.
From that day on, I thought: One day, I too shall be a fast hot dog. I even bought the outfit. Then I discovered the official “fastest hot dog” marathon record. Let’s just say it was way out of reach. So, the costume sat at the back of my cupboard for years, untouched.
Fast forward to now (well actually 5 days before Warsaw Marathon 2025) I have decided to run as a hot dog. I’ve done less training than ever before, only ran once in the hot dog, and to really add to the challenge, I was in Ibiza last week. So no, there will be no personal best. But instead of sulking about it, I decided it’s time… time to dust off the costume, embrace my destiny, and finally become the hot dog I was always meant to be.
At least this way, if I’m slow, I can blame the outfit. 🌭💨

Why the Charity?
Years ago, I travelled to Delhi, India, where I witnessed the incredible work of the charity. Every day, children fleeing troubled homes arrive at Delhi train station with nowhere to go. This charity is there for them. They run programs that help kids get support, shelter, and a chance at a future.
One of the most powerful experiences I had was joining a street tour led by these children, who showed us the reality of their world — and then visiting the charity’s centre where they were being cared for. It left a huge impression on me, and it’s why I’ve chosen to support them now.

No Targets, Just a Hot Dog
I don’t need to raise money. I have no set target. But if the sight of me sweating my way through Warsaw in a giant sausage suit brings you even the tiniest smile, and you’d like to chip in something small, it’ll go to a genuinely brilliant cause.
