Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
In 2026 I’ll be running the London Marathon to support the incredible work of the MS Society.
This cause is very close to my heart — my Father-in-law lives with Multiple Sclerosis. I’ve seen how much strength it takes to face the daily challenges MS brings, and how important the right support and research are in the fight against this disease. Running this marathon is my way of standing alongside him and everyone else affected by MS.
About MS
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged. This causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel.
More than 150,000 people in the UK have MS. Once diagnosed, MS stays for life, but treatments and specialists can help manage the condition and its symptoms.
The MS Society is here to help everyone live well with MS. Every year they reach thousands of people through their MS Helpline and local groups. They campaign on the issues that matter most to the MS community, and they invest in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.
Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
Any donation you give — big or small — will mean so much, not just to me but to families like mine who are affected every day. Thank you for your support!
