Story
This September 2025, I’ll cycle 355 miles across Scotland (Glasgow to John O'Groats) in 7 days, that’s about 50 miles a day.
By comparison, a CHASE Africa backpack nurse rides an average of 50 miles per week, often on rough tracks, to reach remote villages with life-saving healthcare.
Over 12 years, these dedicated nurses have covered countless miles, bringing care to hundreds of thousands of people who would otherwise go without. My ride is just a glimpse of their daily challenge, and I’m fundraising to support their amazing work.
My 355 miles ride is just a tiny fraction of the distance these nurses cover and I’m fundraising to support their tireless work, celebrating 25 years of CHASE Africa making healthcare last mile communities of East Africa.
£100 covers a days work of a backpack nurse. Let's reach together 30 days. I will contribute the first £100, and would love to receive the support of the remaining 29 days. Do you want to join me?
