On 3rd July 2024, we lost my amazing father, Allan Blaza, who died following a stroke. He was 99 years old on 22nd May last year and would be celebrating his 100th birthday this year. To raise money for the Stroke Association, the choir I sing with, Harmonia, an award-winning choir based in Malton, North Yorkshire, will be giving a concert on Saturday, 14th June 2025 at 7pm in The Wesley Centre, Saville Street, Malton. My father, who lived in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, loved to hear the choir sing and would have been the first to buy a ticket for the evening.
