With steadfast hearts, we celebrate the life of Allan Joseph Spain, a remarkable husband, grandfather, son, brother, father, mentor and much loved friend. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Allan's battle with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma was short, but courageous and he faced his diagnosis with grace and determination. His strength inspired those around him and he remained devoted to his family and community until his final days. His care for both this last battle and his long running stalemate against Light Chain Myeloma was supported by the incredible work and research of The Christie. After fighting two rare, high mortality cancers, Allan was determined to contribute whatever he could to the future of those that follow in his footsteps. In his memory, I hope this fundraiser will inspire all who knew him to continue supporting those still battling against overwhelming odds. Mr Mule lives on!
