In April 2022 I was diagnosed with cancer in the form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and the last 3 years have been a whirlwind of hospital trips, stays, scans, chemotherapy and other treatment. I have been extremely fortunate that I was able to get a treatment path which I was delighted to complete and find myself in remission. Throughout all of these challenges the Friends of Anchor team in Aberdeen have been brilliant and I've seen first hand the amazing work they do for fellow cancer sufferers. I've been lucky to be chosen to partake in the BRAVE event which involves me modelling on a catwalk - and I think everybody that knows me would never have predicted this new career path although it shows there's hope out there for everyone!!
