Story
At Allenbourn Middle School, we take our status as a Rights Respecting school seriously - which means our pupils' voices truly matter. Recently, our pupils took to the ballot box in assembly to vote for a charity to support this term, and the overwhelming winner was Macmillan Cancer Support.
Following the vote, our Pupil Parliament got straight to work brainstorming the perfect fundraiser. They wanted something meaningful, memorable, and above all, incredibly fun.
Taking place on Friday 17th July, this is Allenbourn’s very own ultimate obstacle course.
Conquer The Gauntlet: During the school day, students will head out to the field with their peers to tackle the course.
Go Wild with Crazy Hair Day: If tackling an obstacle course isn’t their thing, students can still join the fun by coming to school rocking a "Crazy Hair" style in exchange for a donation to Macmillan. We are talking wild styles, vibrant temporary colours, and as much glitter as they can manage!
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs.
That's why Macmillan will do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving, once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
