I have been an active member of Bay Area Girls Rock Camp since 2015!

In all my 15 years of being a youth educator, child-care provider, and community organizer, BAGRC stands out as one of the most positively impactful and meaningful programming spaces for Oakland youth, particularly girls, queer, and trans youth. During an era in which the rights of trans folks, Black and Brown folks, and immigrant community members are severely under attack, contributing to this cause is a small step you can take right now to enhance our young people’s well-being, access to creative expression, and connection to healthy role models who reflect them and encourage gender and racial justice.
