On Sunday, 4th October 2026 I am joining "TEAM ANIMAL" and running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise much needed funds for the RSPCA.

Being an animal lover, I am incredibly passionate about caring for and helping animals.

I work as a volunteer at the RSPCA branch in West Hatch, Taunton, Somerset.

Pictured with me is the lovely Benji who has been rescued by the RSPCA. In June of this year, Benji was fortunate to find his forever home. Please sponsor me to help other vulnerable animals in need like Benji in making a real difference to their welfare and happiness. There are plenty of other animals looking for their forever home. 🥰

I see how hard the RSPCA staff work to rescue neglected, abused and abandoned animals to give them the love, medical care, rehabilitation and second chances at life they so desperately need and deserve.

My joints, limbs and back will suffer and ache in training for the Cardiff Half and running 13.1 miles on the day, but this is a small price to pay compared to the suffering that many animals endure.
