It doesn’t matter whether you are a fitness newcomer or a fitness fanatic. GateWay Second Chance Foundation is calling on you to collectively cycle, run, walk, swim, or stroll in support of our mission. Whether you use one of many multiuse trails, use your treadmill or Peloton, anything goes as long as you’re moving! No matter your age or level of fitness your miles and donations will make a difference.
Join Me as I join Gate Way not only to get fit, but to raise funds for the organization that has benefited my Son Davoll providing him FREE Tutoring, Men’s Mentoring, a Free week away at a Summer Adventure Camp and participation in the Earn to Learn program which gave him his first summer job and paid him a stipend while teaching him a Trade!
Of course when they asked if I’d participate I jumped at the chance to get back into my Workout routine and raise funds for the organization that I so adore and appreciate!

From Saturday the 23rd of August through Saturday the 27th of September 2025, we are challenging you to join us as we collectively cycle/run/skate/walk/exercise as many miles or hours as possible.
Donate: My Goal is to raise $2,500 in 35 days
That’s only about $71.42/day so I pledge to workout an hour everyday that Goal is met or 30min for any amount given the day prior.
This one-month challenge will culminate with a day of fun activities at Lake Accotink Park 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield, VA on September 27th from 12:00pm until 5pm. Come join us for free food, drinks, jogging, walking, and bike riding and hopefully, with your support we can celebrate my weight loss and the organization’s fundraising 😅
