The start of 2026 has seen massive flooding in Mozambique stretching from Maputo City in the south right up the east coast with lots of damage in the Maxixe region.

Damage has been the loss of roofs, houses flooded out and crops washed away.

We have received request from assistance from partner churches and would like to be able to assist them.

This BBC news article shows immediate damage but the loss of crops and building will be long lasting.
