Alsama Project Annual Spikeball Fundraiser

Talia A is raising money for Alsama Project

Spikeball Tournament

Created via charity sign up service.

Story

Refugee and displaced children across the Middle East are being denied an education, leaving them vulnerable to child marriage and forced labour.

Alsama exists to break this cycle. Where they operate in Lebanon, only 2% of refugee teenagers finish secondary school. Of the refugee and displaced teenagers that arrive at their education centres, 90% are unable to read or write. Through their WASC-accredited, award-winning programme, they pack 12 years of education into just six. By the time they leave, Alsama’s students are brimming with confidence and ready for university or skilled employment - with the certificates to prove it.

Even in the face of conflict, instability and displacement, Alsama remains committed to providing a consistent, world-class education for every student, wherever they are.

We are currently raising money to buy laptops for the recent graduating class who have received scholarships to study at MUBS University in Lebanon.
