I am thrilled to share that together with my Operating Theatre colleagues Ellie, Pavi and Shaney, I will be taking part in the Hyrox women's doubles event on 2nd December 2026 (all funds raised will benefit the department), a personal marathon challenge to support the incredible work of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity. This charity was born from the union of Poole Hospital Charity and Bournemouth Hospital Charity, with a shared mission to enhance patient care across Poole, Royal Bournemouth, and Christchurch Hospitals.

Every day, NHS staff work tirelessly to provide outstanding care, and through fundraising efforts like this event, we can help supply state-of-the-art equipment, improve facilities, and support the health and wellbeing of these dedicated professionals. The need for continued support is vital to ensure that patients receive the best treatment possible in a comfortable environment.
