Ukrainian Children's Christmas Party

Ukrainian Children's Christmas Party
Alton FC are hoping to raise money to fund a Christmas party for 50 Ukrainian children.
The party will be organised by the charity The Helping Hand For Ukraine, a division of CCLL (Chernobyl Childrens Lifeline), based in Alton.
The Helping Hand For Ukraine will be taking approximately 100 children from Ukraine by coach to Poland close to the border with Ukraine. They will accommodate the children for four days and provide a variety of activities to include Christmas parties together with a visit from Santa, BBQ’s in the forest, cinema, pizza making experience and craft workshops. The children will be accompanied by adults/leaders. In addition, they will bring a further group of children who are currently refugee’d within Poland and are too young to travel without their parents from Ukraine. Their parents will accompany them on “day visits” to their activities.
The project will also be visiting refugee’d families in residential centres to deliver presents for children and household essentials for families.
Alton FC will be making a donation from gate receipts taken on 26th November, when the First Team are at home to Banstead Athletic. You can also donate via this JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
