The Alvechurch Scarecrow Festival is back for 2026! 🎃

Taking place during October half term, it’s a fantastic, fun and affordable community event for all the family. Get the kids involved, explore the village, find the scarecrows and enjoy a great day out without spending a fortune. Maps are available at a low cost, making it an inexpensive way to enjoy some family time together.

Most importantly, all money raised goes to support The Lounge Charity Café, which plays a vital role in the Alvechurch community.

The Lounge provides a safe and welcoming space for both young and old. Their youth sessions, held twice a week, give young people the opportunity to spend time with friends while developing valuable life skills. They also run a weekly group supporting older people and helping to reduce isolation.

By taking part in the Scarecrow Festival, you’re not only supporting a brilliant local event — you’re helping The Lounge continue its important work in our community.

Please donate if you can, and help us make Alvechurch Scarecrow Festival 2026 the best one yet! ❤️
