Caro, was more than just my daughter — she was a light in this world. Caro was kind, compassionate, and selfless. She dedicated her life to helping others — supporting families, friends, pets and even complete strangers. She worked with the blind, offered her heart freely, and always ran races in support of different charities.

One of our dreams was to run a marathon together. Sadly, life had other plans, and we didn’t get to share that finish line side by side — at least not in this life.

But in April 2026, I will run that marathon for both of us — in two different realms, but forever united. Caro will be with me every step of the way, just as she always has been.

I will honour her name and her spirit for the rest of my life.
