Story
How does someone end up getting called to Africa?
The threads run deep, but simply put, there is a need.
A need for practical ministry training with the power to change lives through sound theology and real tools to steward healthy, growing churches.
A need recognized by pastors in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
They have invited Nation-2-Nation Ministries to bring in a team to provide their training and materials to help start Bible and ministry schools within their own communities, so leaders can deepen their understanding of the gospel without leaving their families or congregations.
This June, I will be joining the Nation-2-Nation team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Together, we will bring projectors, curriculum, and hands-on training to equip 500 pastors to run this program themselves.
The impact of these trainings will reach far beyond the single week we are there.
Each pastor represents an entire community, communities that will be strengthened spiritually and practically. Some of the courses even teach how to access clean water using local resources.
I’ve personally seen Nation-2-Nation empower people in my own community.
I was honestly a hard sell at first, but once I joined the classes, I was hooked from session one. I’m now working toward my Bachelor’s degree, and I’ve seen firsthand how transformative this training is.
I’m incredibly grateful that God has given me the opportunity to go, both to share His Word and to help equip communities with what they need to build healthy churches and strong foundations. This is how the gospel reaches every corner of the earth.
If you feel led to give, I need to raise $6,000 to cover travel costs, curriculum, and materials so these courses can be provided free of charge to the pastors.
More than anything, I ask for prayer as we prepare in the coming months. That would be the greatest blessing.
